This week's bargain update.

I have done a lot of shopping lately at Publix.  I also hit Kroger this week.  I'm mostly trying to look for BOGO sales and the 10 for $10 items.  Then I will match up my coupons to all of these items.  Look online at the store website and you can find store coupons to use with the manufacter ones.

Don't for get you're allowed to use a store coupon and a manufacter coupon per item.  Doing this is when you get the best savings.

Today I went to Rite Aid.  I bought 3 tubes of Pro Health Crest Toothpaste. Each tube was reg $4.49.  They were onsale for $2.99.  I got $2 register rewards on each tube making them 99cents.  Then I used $1.50 coupon on each tube.  So I made 51cents on each tube!!!!! :)

I also bought 4 boxes of cereal.  They were on sale used previous weeks register rewards and manufacter coupons.  I got them for less than $1 each!! 

If I can plan carefully hopefully I want be paying very much for groceries or household items.  We'll see how it goes :)

Saved $115 at Publix

I had an awesome trip to Publix last night.  I saved $115 and spent $91!!  I got a lot of stuff.  My $50 gas card and two packages of pull-ups alone would've cost me $90 reg price.  I was able to get a whole lot more than that.  They're having a B1G1 sale plus I had a lot of great coupons.  I was also able to stack manufacter coupons with the store coupons.  That was extra helpful.

I purchased:  2 pks of noodles, gal of milk, 2 boxes Ghiradelli Brownies, 12 yoplait yogurts, 2 bags lays potato chips, 2 pkgs of 22 bags of chips, 2 boxes capri suns,  24 ears of corn, 2 Voila meals, 2 steam fresh bags of corn, 4 boxes of cereal, $50 gas card, and 2 pkgs of 26 pull-ups.

Here is what I did:  I had multiple coupons for steamfresh, yopait, pull-ups, potato chips,  lays multipack of chips.  Also used store coupons for gas card, pull-ups and steamfresh.

The best thing that happened was they had a clearance sign beside the pull-ups for $15.99 instead of $19.99.  I used two $5.00 store coupons and two $3.00 coupons for this purchase.   When the cashier finished ringing everything up I noticed pull-ups rang for $19.99 each.  Took my receipt to manager at service desk.  He went to get price check on clearance sign.  Someone had made a mistake and left the sign there, it should have been taken down.  Because the sign was there they were required to let me have it at $15.99.  Plus the gave me the Publix promise and gave me one of the packages free!  So with my combined coupons for this item I was able to get one package for $8 and the other I made $8.00!!!! I'm super excited these are the cheapest pull-ups I have ever bought :)  If I had known this would happen I would have wiped the shelf out and bought all of the packs!!  I still had more coupons I could use :)

Hope yall can have the same kind of success I had tonight.  I had $10 Kohls Cash expiring tomorrow so I decided to use it today.  I got $332 worth of clothes for $43!!!!! That made me SUPER excited.  I got a lot of good stuff.  One of my items was a $55 mans shirt for $4.

Paid $9 for a $30 bottle of Claritin!!! :)

My patience paid off on this one.  I have been searching for a good deal on Claritin.  I really did not want to have to pay $30 for it!  I found a lot of things in the Rite Aid sale paper that we needed and I had coupons for all of the items I bought.  It thing I bought was on sale + I got the UP reward on my receipt.  I paid for all those items first and collected all my UP rewards on the receipt.  Then I purchased the Claritin.  Claritn was $30 for 60 tablets.  I used the $4 in store coupon, $7 coupon from Sunday's paper, plus the $10 UP rewards.  So I paid $9.27!!!  :)  :)

Saved $70 dollars today!

CVS was a little disappointing this week as far as earning more extra bucks.  But, I did manage to come out great on some sales and using coupons and extra bucks from last week.  I did earn $10 this week and used it on a second purchase for today.

I have a great plan with lots of coupons and rewards at rite aid planned.  I hope I can make it there tomorrow.  I have a long list but fully intend on saving a lot of money.

Today's Sweep

Today I went to Kohls to use my free $50 gift card from Mypoints.  (You can find the link in an earlier blog) I got $189 worth of clothes.  Used my extra 30% off I received in the mail + my $50 gift card.  I paid $4.35 out of pocket.  In return I got a $10 Kohl's cash to use later!

Also went to Christopher and Banks at the mall.  Shopped on the 70% of racks. I paid $41 for two pairs of jeans and a skirt.  Reg price would've been $149. 

Pretty satisfied with today's trip :)

My CVS Sweep!!!

Today I went to CVS.  I bought 3 12pks of Coke, and 5 2 liters.  After sale prices and coupons I paid $2 out of pocket and received another $5 extra bucks back! (Regular prices would've been $27.63)

Then in a second transaction I bought 3 clorox wipes, 2 boxes sos pads 3 containers +3 refills of cottonelle flushable wipes, and $18.50 worth of facial cleansers.  I paid $28.24 + got back $10 extra bucks for my next trip. (Reg prices would've been $66.52)  I used the $5 extra bucks I got from the coke purchase + $5 I printed off my email.

Pretty satisfied with my purchases this week.  Let's see what I can get with my $10 Kohls cash + the $50 gift card I got for free!!  :)
