FUN TIME TODAY

I haven't done any shopping in a couple of days.  I did have a lot of fun bowling with my family today.  My youngest cracked us up with all his crazy faces he would make when he got a gutter ball.  None of us are great at bowling but we enjoyed being together.

Yesterday's Totals for Savings!

So I added up everything in my $2 goody bags from Michael's.  I bought 3 so that $6 spent.  I had a $165 worth of stuff in those bags!  Some of it I will take to my class at the school.  Some of it will be used at church, some used at home and some will be gifts.

Target I spent $21.35 and it really would have cost $96.30.

Today I went to CVS and spent $17.46.  It would have cost $62.06.  For this price I bought 5 12pks of coke, 4 large tubes of Pro Health Crest toothpaste, and a large bottle of  Pro Health Mouthwash.  Feeling pretty good about this weeks savings. I thought I would have to spend a lot of money switching to the Pro Health series but fortunately I found a way around it.

Today's Deal

I got to run by Target today and purchased $40 converse shoes for Aaron for $10.  Also I checked out the toys on the 50%-75% off aisle and found some great toys.  The ones I bought were 75% off and paid $4.98 each.  One of the toys I bought would be great for a group of kids to play. The other will be fun for one child or a group.  I plan on using both of these for activites at church for the kids. Then, I ran over to Michaels and what did I find?  Right there at the front door they had $2 Christmas grab bags!!! WHOO HOOO.....I can't wait for my van to make it home so I can dig in them and find out what goodies I got.  I was able to peep in a little bit at the store and could see through the bag a little.  I'll have to let you know what the goodies are tomorrow :)

Well I'm sure there's not anyone out shopping!  I did hike out to the stop sign at Joy Baptist to pick up our other child Caitlyn.  But, I guess we will be stuck at home for a while.  When I get out though I do plan on making a trip to CVS.  I go there a lot using my extra bucks and coupons I get great deals.  This week I want to get 6 twelve packs of Pepsi products for $10!!

Gonna Give it a Try

I have had so many people want me to start a blog.  I'm always running across some sort of deal all the time.  This way I hopefully can share all my finds.  I quess I'll see how it goes.  So here is my first deals.

Most stores you can find Christmas items...(decorations, gift sets, candles, etc)  50-90% off.  Now is the time to get those gifts sets for people on your Christmas list for next year at very little cost.  This is always great if you have a place to store items you find at those bargain prices.

I got a pair of $80 boots on Saturday for $31 at JcPenny.  Selection is very limited since its the end of the season.  Most of the stores at the mall had a good sell on boots.

So I will do some research tomorrow and see what all I can come up with.  Hopefully I'll get the hang of this and it will become a very useful tool.  If anyone is looking for a certain item you can let me know and I will try to find a great deal for you.  We'll see how it goes!
